Commemorating 35 years of operational women at MFB

Welcome to our MFB story-collecting hub! We are exploring experiences and stories from women associated with the MFB to help celebrate two milestones: 30 years of women in firefighting and 35 years of women in operational communications.

As part of this project we are curating an exhibition and creating some short films. So, we want to hear your stories and reflections about your time at MFB. You might like to tell us about how you first became involved with MFB, or why you have stayed? Maybe you had family already in the service or came from a completely different career background. Whatever your story is, we would love to hear it.

We would love for you to fill out the form below and don't forget to let us know if you can come along to one of our morning tea sessions.
