Way Back When worked with the City of Boroondara on an oral history project for centenarians living in the municipality.
Ten centenarians were interviewed, and their personal stories were written into narrative profiles based on the transcripts of their interviews. Eight profiles were exhibited at the Hawthorn Town Hall during the Boroondara Seniors Festival in October 2018, alongside sketch portraits of each centenarian, drawn by artist (and later Archibald Prize winner) Peter Wegner.
